Rotating unions for CONTINUOUS CASTING machines

The GIROL rotating unions MM/MD series have single (MM) or dual passage (MD) and are designed to be mounted inside the cyliders of the continuous casting line.



The seals, in silicon carbide, are balanced, lapped and set to withstand the pressure peaks caused by steam bubbles or bumps or different kind.




The springs are located outside the fluid flow, avoiding pressure losses, dirty deposits and scales.
